About Me
Hi, I'm Accounting Momma

I’m a first time momma on this new journey of parenthood with my amazing husband. We have one beautiful baby girl, who made her grand entrance on our 6 year wedding anniversary – it was the best gift we could have asked for! In addition to being a full-time mom, I also work full-time in the accounting profession (hence the name – Accounting Momma). I’m learning to balance full-time work with full-time momming. Parenthood has been our greatest adventure and I can’t wait to continue this journey, and document pieces of it here along the way!
Why Do I Blog?
Honestly, I never thought I would be a “blogger”. I started this blog as a creative outlet for my motherhood journey. This is not a perfect “Mom Blog” – I watched multiple Youtube videos to even learn how to create a blog. I’m not tech savvy, as I’m sure you can tell from my simple blog, but I’m proud of myself for getting it this far. This blog is where I come to share my experiences and thoughts on different motherhood topics, and I hope that you find something you like or can relate to along the way!
After becoming a mom last year, I truly realized how quickly time goes by. We all know that mom-brain is real, so I wanted to find a place where I could write down my memories and experiences, as well as tips/tricks that I discovered along the way, before I forgot it all. I have friends who recently had kids and they’re asking me questions about baby bottles and sleep training, which feels like ancient history to me. As such, a blog gives me the opportunity to put ‘pen to paper’ and document my experiences and advice that I can share not only with my friends, but with other mommas out there. Lastly, I would love for my daughter to read this blog one day and to gain insight into what it was like raising her from her momma’s point of view. Who knows – maybe this blog will help her when/if she has kids one day!
Thanks for reading and getting to know a little bit more about me, and why I started this blog. Head to my Contact page if you want to connect. I look forward to hearing from you!
